Payment-signal scans
For launches that link to their own website (Show HN, GitHub homepages, some Reddit posts) we fetch that page once, with a clearly identified user agent, and check for a pricing page, a visible price and the scripts of common payment processors. Pages that disallow our bot or fail to load are simply left unscanned. Site owners who prefer not to be scanned can email support@risingterms.com.
